What is a teleseminar?
A teleseminar is an educational event conducted over the telephone and is an affordable and convenient instructional alternative for learning in today's current climate.
After pre-registering, participants are provided a dial-in phone number and a passcode to enter the call. A facilitator leads the teleseminar while participants listen in to various speaker presentations. Attendees can download web-based handouts to their desktops. Near the end of the teleseminar, participants are given the opportunity to ask specific questions of the presenters.
Your registration provides access to the teleseminar on a single telephone line. There is no limit as to how many people can listen in on the call as long as they are using the same telephone line you are.
If you plan to have people participating from multiple locations on different phone lines, a separate registration form must be submitted along with a separate registration fee for each telephone line used.
What is a webinar?
A key feature of a webinar is its interactive elements and the ability to share information being presented in real time as you follow along. This medium is a contemporary way to allow a large number of attendees the ability to both hear and see a presentation making it a more dynamic multi-media application.
Your registration provides access to the visual presentation via the web on a single computer as well as the audio portion on a single telephone line. There is no limit as to how many people can listen in on the call as long as they are using the same telephone line and computer you are.
If you plan to have people participating from multiple locations on different phone lines and accessing the web browser from different computers, a separate registration form must be submitted along with a separate registration fee for each telephone line and computer used.
