Statement on Consumer Privacy and Security for www.nacha.org
NACHA collects personally identifiable information on its web site through membership and conference registrations, the purchase of NACHA products, enrollment
in NACHA rule-making or other programs, surveys, and other means. This information is used for internal and external purposes such as improving web pages, administering NACHA programs, fulfilling orders, and disseminating
notices about NACHA events and opportunities.
NACHA employs Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt the transmission of nonpublic personally identifiable financial and transaction information over
the Internet. NACHA also utilizes additional security devices, such as firewalls, security patches and anti-virus programs, to protect nonpublic personally identifiable information. Access to nonpublic personally
identifiable financial information is limited, through password protection devices and physical safeguards, to authorized employees as necessary to perform the requested transaction.
