While the recently-issued FFIEC Guidance Authentication in an Internet Banking Environment creates a 2006 year-end compliance imperative, it also provides a galvanizing opportunity for financial institutions to leverage mandated investments to their online banking channels and pursue strategies for new services and revenue streams. With over 30% of U.S. households using online banking, according to the TowerGroup, the trusted role of financial institutions, the demand for more secure online solutions for safeguarding customer information, and the profitability of online banking customers-building on existing online banking market share offers a viable and sound business strategy.

Who Should Attend
This program is designed for banking, business, and government professionals from both the business and technology sides of their organizations who are seeking identifiable solutions to and exploring opportunities afforded by the authentication mandate. You not only gain critical information you need from expert speakers from the banking, technology, and government sectors, but you also have the opportunity to network and compare experiences with your payments industry peers.

Conference Structure
The conference program follows a plenary session format on the first day. Speakers explore the critical issues with which financial institution must contend as relates to the FFIEC Guidance, with an eye on sharing strategic insights and lessons learned on the road to compliance. Attendees are also introduced to NACHA’s strategic view of the online financial services space, and what it means to the industry with the bar being raised on authentication and risk management. The second day of the conference offers two distinct concurrent streams. One drills down deeper into the implementation issues surrounding FFIEC Guidance, while the second explores the business opportunities for financial institutions in the context of NACHA’s strategic vision for online banking.
