ACH Volume Grows 11.9 Percent in 2002
Annual transaction volume on the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network increased by almost one billion payments, according to statistics released by NACHA – The Electronic Payments Association at its PAYMENTS 2003 conference on April 18, 2003 in Orlando, Florida. The volume of ACH payments in 2001 exceeded 8.94 billion, up 11.9 percent from 2001. The value of these payments was $24.4 trillion, representing a 10.2 percent increase.
