On February 12, 2019, NACHA will partner with the Regional Payments Associations (RPA) to honor more than 4,600 Accredited ACH Professionals (AAP) and over 200 Accredited Payments Risk Professionals (APRP) as part of National AAP & APRP Recognition Day. Celebrated annually on the second Tuesday of February, National AAP & APRP Recognition Day highlights the importance of those accreditations, as well as celebrates the achievements and contributions of AAPs and APRPs nationwide. This year, NACHA, the RPAs, and more than 1,700 organizations will be celebrating National AAP & APRP Recognition Day in unique ways across the country. 

NACHA welcomes 285 new AAPs and 204 new APRPs!

Ways to Celebrate

NACHA and the RPAs will commemorate National AAP & APRP Recognition Day by flying a U.S. flag over the United States Capitol in Washington, DC. The flag will then be awarded to one lucky AAP or APRP at the annual AAP & APRP Reception at NACHA's PAYMENTS conference. PAYMENTS 2019 will be held May 5-8, 2019 in Orlando, FL. What can you do to celebrate? Here are just a few ideas:

  • Take your credentialed staff to lunch or celebrate with an all-staff lunch.
  • Have your staff sign a “thank you” card to present to your AAPs or APRPs.
  • Send a congratulatory email or letter to your credentialed staff and copy the staff.
  • Buy your team a cake and share it with the rest of the staff.
