Job Summary
Senior Consultants report to the Associate Managing Director, Nacha Consulting Services, and are responsible for acquiring, leading, and retaining client engagements and billable services.

 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Senior Consultants lead a variety of payments engagements in the areas of ACH and risk, strategy, product design/build/testing, product readiness, and custom education. This position provides subject matter expertise on emerging payments as well as traditional payment schemes such as ACH, Wires, and more. Additionally, the Senior Consultant:

• Drives business development and client acquisition efforts and works with the Associate Managing Director to meet revenue goals.

-Manages projects within client portfolio, delivering high quality work product within established timeframes.

• Successfully manages and grows client relationships.

• Acquires new projects and generates repeat business within existing client base.

• Delivers thought leadership to the industry through public speaking engagements and

marketing efforts.

  • Internal:  General contact with executive management, marketing.
  • External:  Extensive contact with clients, industry organizations, prospective clients.
Required Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Self-starter with a well-developed aptitude for time management, project management.
  • Comfortable managing client engagements and delivering high quality work product.
  • Ability to interact with others professionally and respectfully with diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of US payments system, payment trends, proficient in ACH attributes, knowledgeable in the area of instant payments (specifically RTP and FedNow).
  • Proficient with business development and sales to meet financial goals.
  • Ability to embrace and apply the association’s core values.
  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook proficiency.
  • Knowledge of Zoom and MS Teams is required.

Educational Requirements

Required Background / Minimum Qualifications

College degree in business, finance or equivalent work experience in the association, financial services, or technology industry, with demonstrated content, program, or project management skills.  Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience preferably in banking industry. Prefer a minimum of 5-7 years of experience working as a consultant.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None at this time.

Working Conditions

Some domestic travel may be required.
