New York Times Bestselling Author, Brad Meltzer, to Serve as 2012 Payments System Awards Luncheon Speaker

HERNDON, Va., April 10, 2012 – Nacha – The Electronic Payments Association announced today that Steve Streit, Chairman and CEO of Green Dot Corporation will keynote its PAYMENTS 2012 Conference, the largest and most comprehensive education event for the payments industry, which will take place April 29-May 2 in Baltimore, MD.  In an interview-style format, Streit will open PAYMENTS 2012 and share insights on how Green Dot has successfully managed the evolving demands of its customers while adjusting to changing regulations and new technological advances.  David Stewart, Senior Expert at McKinsey & Company will conduct the interview.

Additionally, Brad Meltzer, New York Times bestselling author will serve as the speaker for the 2012 Payments System Awards Luncheon at PAYMENTS 2012. The Payments System Awards Luncheon, sponsored by TD Bank, recognizes outstanding achievement in the payments industry and annually features an engaging speaker to accompany the award presentations. During the luncheon, Meltzer will share his views on innovation and collaboration while examining the power of the individual.

He has been recognized for numerous industry awards, including the 2011 Ernst & Young National Entrepreneur of the Year award in the Financial Services category and 2011 recipient of the Technology Leadership Award from Los Angeles County Technology Week.
