TPI, set for July 12-15, now includes a Master’s Program
HERNDON, Va., June 23, 2015 – NACHA – The Electronic Payments Association® announced today that it has expanded the curriculum at The Payments Institute, a university-style program focused on continuing education for industry professionals, to include a Master’s Program. TPI will be held July 12-15 at the Emory Conference Center Hotel in Atlanta.
The Master’s Program will allow students to explore the business strategies shaping payments today; contribute to sessions and discussions to define the impact of new and emerging payments; and participate in practical, hands-on scenario planning to mitigate risk in a changing environment.
“Over the course of four days, TPI provides intense professional development in a customized, in-depth curriculum taught by respected industry leaders,” said Scott M. Lang, AAP, senior vice president, Association Services at NACHA. “The new Master’s Program allows for an even deeper dive into payments industry developments and their impact on the ecosystem to provide professionals with a sharper skill set and to better equip them to contribute to their organizations and succeed in their careers.”
In addition to the Master’s Program, TPI offers four other Schools of Study, including the Examiner School, Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) Prep School, Risk and Compliance School, and General Payments Systems School. TPI also provides a selection of lectures and electives. Attendees can earn up to 20 AAP credits.
The curriculum is geared towards the needs and practices of payments professionals on all career levels, whether they are an experienced AAP, working on getting credentialed, or are new to the industry. To register for TPI or for more information, visit nacha.org/PaymtInstit.
