HERNDON, Va., Feb. 17, 2016 – NACHA—The Electronic Payments Association® today announced that its Payments Innovation Alliance released its agenda for the Feb. 22-24 Members Meeting in San Francisco, which will highlight the role of fintech in payments innovation.
Launched in 2014, The Alliance is a membership group that encourages industry dialogue and collaboration to help advance domestic and global payments. As an inclusive voice for the payments industry and the ACH Network, the growing body consists of more than 200 member organizations from throughout the payments ecosystem and from around the globe.
“The Alliance Members Meeting is not a conference. It is an opportunity for members to engage and brainstorm on business opportunities, innovative solutions and critical decision making,” said George Throckmorton, Managing Director of Network Development for NACHA. “It is interactive knowledge exchange at its best, among industry leaders, senior level executives and payments professionals who are working with The Alliance to create an exciting path forward for the payments industry.”
The Members Meeting will provide an inside look at Bay Area innovation with site visits to local innovation labs and fintech companies, including PayPal and Ripple. There also will be “Idea Lab: Meet the Innovators” sessions, a live show and tell where innovators have the opportunity to pitch their payments solutions to Alliance members.
In addition, Alliance members will discuss a variety of payments-related topics in facilitated sessions and interactive discussion forums, including:
