It’s an honor to be honored for our honor.
Let us explain.
As you might know, in January, Nacha was named one of the 2020 Best Places to Work in Virginia by Virginia Business Magazine and Best Companies Group. It’s the second year in row that Nacha has made the prestigious list.
Among those taking notice are federal and state lawmakers from around Nacha’s Northern Virginia headquarters.
On Feb. 6, Rep. Gerald Connolly introduced a statement into the Congressional Record on behalf of himself and Rep. Jennifer Wexton, congratulating Nacha.
“Rep. Wexton and I are thrilled to recognize Nacha’s commitment to creating and fostering an award-winning work environment in Northern Virginia, and we commend them on their efforts to strengthen the ACH Network,” wrote Connolly.
He called Nacha’s Best Places to Work designation “a fitting acknowledgement of their many contributions to Virginia’s economy, workforce, and business community.”
U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia sent Nacha a congratulatory letter Feb. 20.
“Nacha’s leadership has proved vital in many areas including payment oversight, education and certification for its direct members and maintaining standards and professional growth which contribute to the overall viability of Virginia’s economy,” Kaine wrote.
Also in February, a Joint Resolution commending Nacha was passed by the Virginia General Assembly. The resolution, introduced by Dels. Karrie Delaney and Dawn Adams, said Nacha’s inclusion on the Best Places to Work list “is the result of the relationship it cultivates with its employees, wherein each member of the business is valued for their contributions to the overall well-being of the company.”
It also noted that “Nacha and its employees are key players in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of financial services, providing the underpinning for a thriving and successful economy.”
