New Enhancement to Nacha’s Risk Management Portal Helps FIs Keep ACH Contacts Current

Financial Institution Portal administrators: Have you recently reviewed your ACH contacts in Nacha’s Risk Management Portal? 

A new enhancement is now live, giving financial institutions an easy and reliable way to verify that their ACH Contact Registry information is accurate and up to date.

FI Administrators that navigate to the ACH Contact Registry landing page will be prompted to verify their mandatory contact information via a new feature, only if they are compliant with the Nacha Rules:

Risk Management Portal New Login

With just a few clicks, FI administrators can verify that their required ACH contacts are correct and complete. The verification will show on the ACH Contact Registry landing page by displaying the date and the administrator’s email that performed the verification, as well as an option to re-verify mandatory contacts if changes have been made since the last verification.

This enhancement is designed to make mandatory ACH contact verification simpler and more transparent. Once the FI’s administrator verifies the mandatory ACH contacts, the Risk Management Portal will create a log documenting the verification on the Registration Summary Document. This feature means your financial institution now has a clear record showing when contact information was last verified, which will be helpful documentation you can provide during audits or other reviews.

FI Portal Administrators: If your mandatory ACH Contacts are not in compliance with the Nacha Rules, you will not see the verification feature until or unless your ACH contacts are brought into compliance.
