Nacha Consulting's Samantha Carrier, Senior Director Emerging Strategic Initiatives, and Kerry Sellen, Senior Director, Payments & Risk Consultant, recently joined Rohin Tagra, Founder and CEO of Azimuth GRC, to address the complexities of compliance. They noted financial companies face the manual process of keeping up with changes to various laws, the Nacha Operating Rules and other regulations across the payments spectrum.
To address this challenge, Tagra worked with Nacha Consulting to develop a new software product for organizations to not only comply with Nacha's Rules but also ensure they stay on top of new laws and regulations.
While the ACH-focused software is new, Tagra founded Azimuth in 2017 because he saw firsthand—working at one of the nation's largest banks—how time-consuming it was to keep up with regulatory issues and more. He also said keeping staff aware of the changes added to the difficulties. He knew there had to be a better way and set out to create software that would lessen the manual burden. In the presentation, he shares how he worked with Nacha Consulting to develop the software.
