This project team provides education on quantum computing as it relates to the payments industry. Initially the team will get to a common level of understanding of quantum and then discuss how quantum can affect payments and banking.

The Quantum Payments Project Team is excited to reveal its latest resource, Protecting Payments in the Quantum Era: Setting a Course for Action. This paper dives deep into the risks posed by quantum computing and the actions organizations need to take to be quantum ready. 

July 2025 
On July 15, the project team released a video, Protecting Payments in the Quantum Era: Prepare for Impact, which offers a foundational overview of quantum computing and its threat to today's cryptographic systems.  

January 2025 
The project team has released a Buzzcast, Demystifying Quantum Payments.

November 2024 
The project team has released An Introduction to Quantum Computing and Payments, a free report exploring how quantum computing will impact the payments industry. The report outlines both the opportunities for innovation and the significant threats posed to cryptographic security, urging leaders to prepare for quantum-safe solutions.
