Announces Collaboration with the Consumer Federation of America on Survey Of Benefits of Direct Deposit as a Savings Tool HERNDON, Va., February 24, 2015 – In support of America Saves Week on February 23-28, Nacha — The Electronic Payments Association encourages employees to enroll in Direct Deposit via ACH and authorize a split deposit of their pay — helpful tools to automatically grow savings. Nacha also announced that it will commission a survey in partnership with the Consumer Federation of America (CFA) to further assess the benefits of Direct Deposit via ACH for employees.

HERNDON, Va., January 15, 2015 – Nacha — The Electronic Payments Association today announced the appointment of representatives to the newly formed Board Advisory Group. The appointees will serve a two-year term, effective immediately. The Board Advisory Group was created to provide a more formal mechanism for a variety of non-financial institution providers and users of the ACH Network to communicate directly with the Nacha Board of Directors. It is yet another way in which Nacha reaches out to various stakeholders across the payments industry.

Today, Nacha announced the addition of a new School of Study to The Payments Institute (TPI) curriculum. The “Examiner Track” School of Study provides TPI attendees with information, tools and resources to better assess and mitigate payments system risk. Coursework will focus on regulatory guidance, vendor management and risk assessment techniques.
